Mae Medical Travel

Mae Medical Travel, a programme for patients from the Geneva region
Mae Medical Travel is a programme for patients living in the Geneva region who are interested in selected cosmetic surgery procedures performed on an outpatient basis at Mae Clinic in Warsaw (blepharoplasty, direct brow lift, upper lip lift, micro-liposuction of the chin and lower cheeks, buccal fat removal, mini lower face lift).
The programme is based on a fixed schedule: free online qualification consultations and weekend medical trips organised on the first and last weekend of every month.
Stage I, preliminary medical qualification during an online consultation.
Stage II, medical examination, necessary laboratory tests and final medical qualification, carried out in Warsaw at Mae Clinic immediately before the planned procedure.
After the online consultation, the patient attends a free information, organisational and educational meeting with the doctor in Geneva. The meeting is purely informational, organisational and educational in nature. No medical examinations or medical qualification for the procedure take place during the meeting. The doctor discusses the technique of the planned procedure and the course of recovery, answers questions and provides information on organising the trip, the stay in Warsaw and how Mae Clinic operates.
The system runs continuously. On the first and last weekend of each month, meetings are held in Geneva, after which the doctor travels to Warsaw with a previously qualified group of patients, usually three to five people, where he performs the planned procedures and provides further aftercare.
- a free online qualification consultation,
- a free information, organisational and educational meeting with the doctor in Geneva,
- a Geneva–Warsaw–Geneva flight accompanied by the doctor,
- airport transfer in Warsaw,
- two nights in a hotel,
- transport between the hotel and the clinic,
- the procedure performed at Mae Clinic,
- aftercare and a follow-up visit before returning to Geneva.
Friday, arrival in Warsaw, hotel check-in, medical examination, laboratory tests and final medical qualification.
Saturday, the procedure.
Sunday, follow-up visit and return to Geneva.
The greatest advantage of the programme is continuity of care. The patient meets the doctor before arriving in Poland and remains in the care of the same person throughout the entire treatment process, from the online qualification consultation, through the information and organisational meeting in Geneva, the journey to Warsaw together and the procedure itself, right up to the follow-up visit before returning home.
