Mae Academy – Medical Aesthetic Expert Programme

Who leads it?

Maciek Sznurkowski – a doctor who has been practising aesthetic medicine, cosmetic surgery and dermatological laser therapy since 2014.

More than 3,000 patients and more than 7,500 documented treatments and procedures performed personally.

The programme was developed on the basis of experience gained from daily treatment work and from organising and running a private practice.

What is it?

Mae Academy is a comprehensive programme that prepares doctors to start and develop a practice in aesthetic medicine, cosmetic surgery and dermatological laser therapy.

It combines theoretical and practical training, clinical mentoring and support in setting up your own clinic. It covers the entire process of working with a patient: from consultation and qualification, through planning and performing the treatment, to post-treatment care and the management of complications.

  2. Theoretical and practical training – learning the indications, contraindications, treatment techniques and safety principles.
  3. Clinical mentoring – observation of live procedures, case discussions and support in clinical decision-making.
  4. Solutions for use in your clinic – standards of practice, documentation templates and organisational and business tools.

Expert and business support

As part of the programme, you receive:

  • Templates for medical records, informed consent forms and post-treatment recommendations.
  • Protocols for recognising complications and managing them when they occur.
  • Advice on choosing equipment, lasers, medical supplies and clinic furnishings.
  • Organisational support in launching and developing your own practice.
  • Consultations on building a treatment offering, service positioning, marketing and patient communication.

Running a practice requires combining procedural skills with safety, work organisation, economics and patient communication.

“In building my own practice, I had to combine these elements into a single working system. Mae Academy was created to pass on this experience and to help other doctors build their own career paths consciously.” — Maciek Sznurkowski

Who is it for?

Primarily for doctors with a full licence to practise who wish to start or develop a practice in aesthetic medicine, cosmetic surgery and laser therapy. We welcome doctors without a specialisation, doctors in specialist training and specialists interested in broadening their skills.

We invite cosmetologists to collaborate with us and to take part in selected educational modules suited to their professional background and scope of competence.
